About the program

Family Promise of Greater Rochester provides families with shelter and case management to support them as they find and secure safe, stable housing. Shelter is provided in one of six apartments in the community, which are cleaned and restocked between families by volunteers. Funding for the program is secured through grants and individual donations; all toiletries, cleaning supplies, furniture, and appliances are donated in-kind.

FPGROC ended congregational-style shelter during the pandemic, learn more here.

FPGROC has partnered with Orlando to provide shelter apartments for families. His generosity and willingness to offer short-term leases to FPGROC has allowed us to shelter up to six families at a time. Thank you for managing happiness in Rochester, Orlando!
